Several weeks ago, I got a package in from Sam at Tanner Goods. Sam and his partner Mark come from an industrial design background, which is evident in the details they incorporate into their pieces. All of their leather accessories are crafted in their Portland-based workshop and the quality of their workmanship really shows. They were recently interviewed for h(y)r collective’s third issue – check it out here.
The goods have already started to take on a beautiful darker hue after just a short time of use. I’m looking forward to seeing how they evolve over a longer period of time.

[...] 3sixteen just posted a photo showing how their new Tanner Goods bracelets will age over time. When you buy the bracelets new, they look pale and stiff, but I think part of the fun in owning a genuine leather product like this is watching it age, change color, and crease. Definitely looks better as it gets broken in (plus there’s the connection you have with actually being a part of the aging process rather than simply buying it pre-aged). Compare the look of the aged leather above with how it looked like almost a year ago. [...]
